The children dressed up as Pilgrims, pioneers, or Native Americans and we enjoyed our special lunch on the classroom floor!

Thanksgiving Reader's Theater

My firsties performed a Thanksgiving Reader's Theater for our Pre-K classes and they did an AMAZING job!  I am so proud of them!!!

We love manipulatives!!

Students always enjoy working with manipulatives!  Today we used attribute blocks to make shapes.  They are already asking when we will do this activity again!

Noun Scavenger Hunt!

We had a noun scavenger hunt a few weeks ago and the kids loved it! They found nouns posted around the room and wrote them in the correct columns. I see many scavenger hunts in our future!

Family Turkey Time!

This is one of my favorite things we do in first grade!  The students, parents and guests enjoy seeing the creativity shown through these critters!
